Bartington Instruments (stand 1)

Bartington Instruments is a leading provider in the design and manufacture of high precision, low noise fluxgate magnetometers, gradiometers, magnetic susceptibility instrumentation and Helmholtz Coil systems. We offer a range of products and services with applications in the physics, geosciences, medical and near surface geophysics sectors.

Cryogenic Limited (stand 5)

Cryogenic Limited produces a wide variety of customised superconducting magnet systems, including solenoids to 22 Tesla, split pairs to 14 Tesla, 2D and 3D vector configurations, magnets for UHV soft x-ray, muon, optical and neutron beamline environments, as well as bespoke large bore magnets for gyrotron and mineral separation applications. Our range of measurement systems includes magnets for NMR, EPR, SQUID and vibrating sample magnetometers, electrical and thermal transport measurements, combined with ultra-low temperature capabilities down to 300 mK with 3He or 50 mK with a dilution refrigerator. These configurations are offered as either cryogen free or low boil off liquid helium cooled magnet systems.

Durham Magneto Optics (stand 10)

We specialise in advanced scientific instrumentation for nanotechnology research and development. Our product range includes a family of magneto-optical Kerr effect magnetometers (NanoMOKE3) and a family of direct-write laser lithography machines (MicroWriter ML).

Farnell element14 (stand 6)

Farnell element14 is the Development Distributor, a global partner that supports the technology community at every stage. From developing the dreams of students and makers to helping professional engineers develop their ideas and products, we help build a community that benefits from our technology.

GMW Associates (stand 7)

We are a Distributor and Integrator of Sensors, Transducers, Instruments and Systems based on magnetics. Products and support are provided for: non-contact, isolated sensing of mechanical position and magnetic material; magnetic field and magnetic property measurement; electric current measurement and control; magnetic field generation and control; particle beam control and acceleration.

Lake Shore Cryotronics (stand 9)

Lake Shore Cryotronics offers electromagnet-based VSMs for characterizing magnetic properties over a range of temperatures and fields to 3.42 T. Among these is the award-winning 8600 Series, which combines high sensitivity (25 nemu) and measurement speed (10 ms/pt) in a system capable of accurately characterizing materials with unprecedented ease.

Oxford Instruments (stand tbc)

Oxford Instruments NanoScience designs, supplies and supports market-leading research tools that enable quantum technologies, new materials and device development in the physical sciences. Our tools support research down to the atomic scale through creation of high performance, cryogen free low temperature and magnetic environments, based upon our core technologies in low and ultra-low temperatures, high magnetic fields and system integration, with ever-increasing levels of experimental and measurement readiness. Oxford Instruments NanoScience is a part of the Oxford Instruments plc group.

QuantumDesign UK and Ireland (stand 8)

QuantumDesign UK and Ireland are one of the leading distributors of high-tech instrumentation. We offer a range of user-friendly, automated material characterisation systems for the fundamental science research communities. We offer four major product lines with capabilities from 50 mK to 1000 K and magnetic fields up to 16 Tesla.

Scientific & Medical Products Ltd (stand 3)

Scientific & Medical Products Ltd (Scimed) are proud to represent Rigaku in the UK for their Smartlab, MIniflex XRD systems and Wavelength & Energy Dispersive XRF systems. Scimed have been working with market leaders of analytical instrumentation for over 30 years. Based in Stockport near Manchester, with a dedicated and comprehensive sales & service support network we aim to provide a professional and customer focused service.

The UK Magnetics Society (stand 11)

The UK Magnetics Society supports magnetics professionals in all fields and countries.

Our membership is drawn from industry, government and academia. We focus on materials and machines, but we cover all areas of magnetics including superconductivity, spintronics, measurement, transport, medical, thin films, sensors, high fields, CAD, generation, transformers, etc.

Zurich Instruments (stand 2)

Zurich Instruments is a test and measurement company based in Zurich, Switzerland, developing and selling measurement instruments and delivering customer support in key markets around the world, either directly or with carefully selected partners. Our core offering includes lock-in amplifiers, phase-locked loops, arbitrary waveform generator, impedance analyzers, digitizers and boxcar averagers.
We believe that system integration is good. We believe that system integration leads to significant time savings, reduced lab setup complexity, efficient workflows and reliable, accurate measurements.
